Why do we need guardian?
The government of United Kingdom requires students to have a guardian residence in the U.K. while they are having education in any of the British high school. Guardian is representing a very important role for the students, such as, taking responsibility for the emergency services and calls. As students are studying abroad and parents may not able to attend their parents meeting throughout the academic year, guardian will also attend all the parents meeting if it is the student willing.
Moreover, it is important that guardian will help a hand to solve any enquiries from students, for example, universities and subjects advices.
On the other hand, Transworld Guardianship will also provide Visa Tier 4 application advice.
Who is my guardian?
Transworld Guardianship will be your best choice of guardian for your kids. Every students for us is unique, during their academic term time, the school has responsibility for student day-to-day care. However, during school holidays and half term, Transworld Guardianship will take responsibility for helping students to arrange homestay and making sure they are going to have the best homestay for their day-to-day care before they return back to school. However, if there is an emergency at school or at homestay, we are definitely providing 24 hours emergency care.
How often do I meet my guardian?
We usually visit our students twice a term and of course if there are any special events like parents meetings, sport days or university open days, we will always here for our students.
Will you go to my parent evening?
Yes, of course we would attend all the parent meetings. It is very important for us understand their academic life. After the meetings, we will contact parents and make sure the academic situation is up-to-date.
What happen in an emergency?
Of course there is no worry about it, the school and homestay will contact us immediately if there is any emergency happened. Once we understand the situation from them, we will contact their parents and make sure we are keeping the situation up-to-date.
Where would I stay during school holiday?
Homestay will be arranged by us, however student requirements will be one of our main concerns. Therefore, we will do our very best to arrange the best homestay for the student based on their needs and of course the host family will be closed to your school.
